Most of the lyrics of rap music out on the market today contain bad words, and show images of things that are socially wrong.  So, often times when we hear about Hip Hop/Rap music, we paint a picture in our heads of black men dancing with guns, lots of gold, and girls looking like prostitutes. With the growing popularity of rap music through television, its influence on society and the concern of skeptics grown. It has become evident that rap, once viewed as a passing fad, has laid impenetrable roots in society. The music contains violence and causes violent behavior among the youth. It encourages crime and drug addiction. The attitude rappers show towards women is very heinous.

Rap, in the name of a race or social class is a violence-inducing demon. Teenagers steal, show many types of odd behaviour,  hurt and even kill because of its influence.  Numerous parents complain that their children influenced by rap music are acting so violently at home which is not  at all tolerable. Hence, parents and teachers must put an image in their kid’s head that Rap music is not a part of our great culture. Teenagers must take all positive things from this, but should not follow the life style of the rappers of  Hip Hop culture.
