What is the importance of moral values or life long lessons to a young adolescent? The majority of our teens and youth know very little about this question. The behaviour of children in our society proves that this question is hardly even a subject of importance. Today, the violence and crimes in our society mostly occur when a troubled teen or a fragile child cannot handle the pressure and stress of reality. Hence, moral values play dominant role in moulding the attitude and approaches of children in their life. There- fore, implanting these values in the minds of the children is vital and it is easily possible if told through stories interestingly and attractively. Moral values are the standards of good and evil, which govern an individual’s behaviour, choices and ideologies. These are acquired by example, parenting, peer guidance, conscience, disapproval, shunning, and only in some instances by law. Life without moral values is just like a living hell. It is definite that a man in spite of his name, fame and wealth is not loved and respected by people if he does not possess moral values. He is criticized and hated by all though people praise him in his presence because of his power or property. Hence, moral values are indispensable part of life.
