Study habits have many vital roles to play in building our career and shaping our future. Children with proper study habits, develop effective study skills, improve reading comprehension, discover their own personal study style, manage their time more efficiently and learn the best way to prepare for exams. They are also more likely to increase their confidence and competency as they continuously learn new things. They tend to approach their schoolwork with a positive attitude, rather than a negative, anxious one. They make better grades and suffer less stress during exam time.
Hence, developing proper study habit is most important and most necessary in student life, for success. Setting the fixed time and the particular place, when and where to study, is the best work to reach at our goals. We should regularly study in a room or quiet place that is set up for studying. It should be free from disturbances and hold everything we need to have an effective study session- a study table, a chair, proper light and ventilation, a book-self containing our textbooks and notebooks, a dictionary etc.
Unfortunately, many students in the 21st century, do not have proper study habit. Most have poor or no study habits. Many do not plan their study time. Hence, if effective study routines are not learned or taught, you will not be likely to succeed.
