It is now the age of Cable T.V. with programmes agoging with fun and frolic all the twenty four hours around the clock. All the channels of it are at our finger’s tips and children are glued to their T.V. sets day and night. They can miss their meals but not their favourite T.V. programmes. The youth and the adolescent are too not far behind. The names assigned to all sorts of serials are equally romantic and magical. The advertisements of so many products in television is superb and mind-blowing. The commercial advertisements have created a mad craze among children and youth. Again there is going on an everlasting cat race among television channels to capture the greatest number of viewers. Even today cable T.V. has made inroads to the remotest village unimaginably and surprisingly. Really, the cable T.V. network has led to the maximum exploitation of all sorts of knowledge and information which was hitherto unthinkable. Hence, this T.V. culture is now deep rooted and ingrained. It has definitely become a part and parcel of our life. We all, therefore can exploit the boon of science, technology and informations to our best advantage if we use our T.V. sets for educational and informative purposes. But now excess T.V. viewing has become a serious problem. Besides wastage of time it affects their eyesight, mental and physical health badly.
