GARDENING

A poet has said, “One is nearer to God’s heart in a garden”. By living near a garden one feels quite close to Nature.  Nature in reality is a great teacher, a preacher, a mother, a healer, a consoler and a companion. So gardening gives  immense pleasure. During our leisure we should  take up gardening. I too devote my time to gardening by growing flowers, fruits, vegetables and other plants. In my garden plants like mango, guava, lemon, banana, cashew nuts, papaya, custard and apple are grown. There are vegetables like spinach, carrot, radish, tomatoes, cauliflower, chilli, ladyfinger etc.  We eat the fresh fruits and vegetables of our garden. The garden gives me a great pleasure. The cool and fresh air, the fragrance of the flowers and the chirps of birds keep me active and fresh. I study my lessons under the shade of trees.
