Our motherland India is a land of villages. More than seventy percent of Indian population resides in villages. Agriculture is their principal occupation. The majority of our village population is still illiterate and is affected by the evils of superstitions. The life of a majority of the village population is still miserable and most of them are deprived from two satisfactory daily meals. Most of the village houses are made of mud. The roads connecting the villages are unmetalled and even to some villages there are no roads. Outside the villages, there are ponds where the village people take bath. Usually, they use the water of well and tube well for drinking and cooking. The villagers of Indian villages are simple, innocent and lead very simple life. They celebrate many festivals and enjoy them a lot. In spite of their financial problems they enjoy their lives and live peacefully.
