Every year a fair is held near our village. The fair is held on the occasion of Durga Puja. Last year I had the opportunity of visiting that fair. It was full with people from all the neighbouring villages. So many items of public interest were displayed there. First I saw the idol of goddess Durga. Then I visited the different types of shops in the fair. At one corner, there was a juggler showing amusing tricks to the people. I enjoyed his show a lot. As I moved further, I saw the merry-go-round. Many men and women, boys and girls were enjoying the joy of rides. I with my little sister enjoyed the riding. Then I moved to another side where I saw the wrestling. The wrestlers of the adjoining areas came to participate in the competition. A wrestler named Bana Pahilwan won the competition. Then I moved to the end side of the fair to see the small circus. I enjoyed the cycle show and the ring play. The joker made the people laugh loudly. After that I with my sister, uncle and aunt went to the sweet shop. We ate sweets and other food items. We also tasted the village ice cream and soft drinks. I bought a toy gun, a flute, many colourful balloons and a musk. My sister bought a toy car, a doll and balloons too. It was late in the evening. We returned home happily. I enjoyed my visit to the fair a lot.
