Dear Children,
It is said that ‘What we are, is God’s gift to us and what we become, is our gift to God’. So, we are here for a unique and noble purpose. But sometimes we commit serious mistakes in our dealings with others. We terribly hurt others by our misdeeds and our greatest fault is not to be aware of it. When we hurt others, we seek to justify ourselves by blaming circumstances and other people. This not only affects our relationships but also our physical and mental health.
Friends, the best way to maintain good relationships and to keep you physically and mentally fit is to begin the healing process. If you have committed any blunder by providing anybody sorrow and suffering, then realize that it is your fault. Try to understand the real fact and consider it from a neutral view point, you can know how wrong were you? Make up your mind by thinking that as humans, we are far from being perfect and it is natural to err. It is painful to admit mistakes, but our greatest glory lies in admitting our faults.
Shining Stars, think when others hurt us, what sort of bitterness we feel? Remember, bottled negative emotions can be toxic, and can destroy your peace, reducing your mental efficiency. It brings resentment, suspicion, absurd thinking and jealousy within you. Therefore the best way to overcome these is confession. The practice of confessing one’s misdemeanours is intended to help cleanse oneself of hatred and resentment. By admitting your fault you can remove the thick barrier of differences and build the relationships of trust and better understanding.
Nice Guys, we generally do not admit our faults considering it as a matter of shame and defeat. But remember, only noble souls having profound conscience express sorrow and guilty over their mistakes. On the other hand the selfish, dishonest and cruel fellows do not confess. Knowing their evils, they always think, ‘We are perfect’. They recognize their faults but think confession will hamper their position and make their prestige down. This is their mental illness. They twirl in a cycle of perpetual depression but show their pride. They forget that confession is a great virtue and by confessing their mistakes they can get God’s true blessing. At last they are rejected by God and spend their life in extreme sufferings. Hence, dear ones confess your mistakes and you can make your life a healthy and wealthy one.
