1. Amazon:- The Amazon river is in Brazil in South America. It has flown from the Andes Mountain in Peru and has fallen in Atlantic Ocean. Its length is 6448 km. It is considered as the largest river of the world because of its water flows and highest number of basins.
2. Nile:- River Nile flowing through Egypt in Africa is the longest river in the world. It is 6670 km long and has flown from Lake Victoria to the Mediterranean Sea.
3. Missouri-Mississippi:- River Missouri-Mississippi is in U.S, North America. Its source is the Red Rock, Montana and has outflown into the Gulf of Mexico. Its length is 6300 km.
4. Yangtze-Kiang:- The Yangtze-Kiang river is in China, in the Asian continent. It is 5490 km long and has flown from the Tibet Plateau to the China Sea, which is a part of Pacific Ocean.
5. Yenisei:- River Yenisei flowing from Mt. Tannuola is in Siberia in Asia. It is 5300 km long and has outflown into Arctic Ocean.
6. Hwang-Ho:- The river Hwang-Ho is in China in the Asian continent. It is 4840 km long and has flown from Tibet to Pacific Ocean.
7. Congo:- River Congo is in the African country Zaire. Its source is the confluence of Lualuba and Luapula and has outflown into the Atlantic Ocean. It is 4800 km long.
8. Niger:- The Niger river is in Nigeria of Africa. It has flown from the Sierra Leone to Gulf of Guinea of Atlantic Ocean. Its length is 4800 km.
9. Lena:- River Lena flowing through Russia is in European continent. It is 4800 km long and its source is lake Baikal. It has outflown into Laptev Sea of Arctic Ocean.
