Children’s Day is an event celebrated on various days in many places around the world. International Children’s Day is celebrated on June 1 and Universal Children’s Day is on November 20. Many countries celebrate their local children’s days’ on other dates.
In the year 1954, Universal Children’s Day was recommended by the United Nations and UNESCO’s that every year 20th November will be observed as Children’s Day. It was recommended that the day will be observed to promote the welfare of the children of the world. But many countries observe the children day at days other than 20th November.

Australia- 1st Sunday in July.
Bangladesh- March 20, on the birthday of the father of nation, Shekh Mujibur Rahman.
