There is a proverb in English “Time & tide wait for none”. This is very much true because time is flowing and nobody can stop it. Time has no beginning and end, hence limitless. Everything in this world changes with time, a baby grows to a boy, then to an adult and becomes old. Time is very powerful, nobody can escape from the grip of time. Man has come to this world for a definite  period of time and he has to leave this world one day whether he wants it or not. So, knowing that he has a limited life span in this world, man must utilize his time properly.

For everyone, life is a combination of past, present and future. Past is gone and one cannot get it again. Future is  a myth, so nobody is  sure of tomorrow. The best time in one’s life, is thus the present and one should make today as useful as it can be. So every moment of this present time is vitally important and we must make best use of this precious wealth “Time” to our maximum advantage. This is applicable to all, specially to the students because the future of a student  depe nds on his present activities. If he works hard, does not waste a single moment, utilizes his time in a proper manner, there is no doubt  that success will knock  at his door. So, present is the foundation stone for everyone’s  successful life.

Often we complain that we have no time for doing things we want. There is no doubt that modern life is very busy and man does not get sufficient time to relax, pursue his hobbies etc. We come across persons in the society who only idle away their time and complain about lack of time to do some useful work. But there are others who in spite of their very busy schedule get time to do social service, pursue in their hobbies in the field of art, literature, music etc. and this is possible only due to management of time. So, management of time is very important in one’s life.

Children, nowadays spend too much of their time in watching T.V. by which they not only waste their valuable time but also acquire many undesirable things. Parents should be vigilant about this and guide them properly so as to  utilize their leisure time, in  learning   music, dance, art etc. From  an early stage, children should be taught about the   importance and utilization of time and put them into practice.

Man has invented WATCH to tell  time. But children! When you watch your - word (W), action (A), thought (T), Character (C) and heart (H), you will be very good mannered, disciplined, punctual and win the hearts of millions of people.
