Our children are the most precious gifts of God. They are our most valuable resource.  They are our hope and are the future citizens of our nation. Children are like clay and parents are the artists. Like the artists, the parents can give any shape to their children. The following rules are most essential for the parents and guardians for developing personality of their children.

1.   Do not scold your child all the time for inconsequential failures.

2.   Avoid using bitter or harsh remarks.

3.   Always you should not impose your choice on your children.

4.   Never discourage the child under  any circumstances.

5.   Do not praise your child always in affection.

6.   Provide the child his necessary materials in time.

7.   Do not compare your child with his friends.

8.   Practise honesty, nobility, greatness and other virtues in your action in order to make your child honest, noble and great.

9.   Avoid prolonged separation from the child.

10. Avoid severe punishment as it affects the child’s mental order. Punishment should be the last resort.

11. Constant friction between the parents should not be expressed in front of the child.

12. Do not restrict your child to stay within home after school hours. Allow him to play with his good friends near your home.

13. Do not adopt any wrong measure for securing better marks in school examinations.

14. Avoid the practice of preferring one child and neglecting the other.

15. Do not be over ambitious regarding your child.

16. Do not support the wrong deed of your child.
